The first VoXip2 units have been produced and tests are now ongoing. The photo shows engineer Boe Andersen, who has been one of the leading forces within development and hardware design.
VoXip2 is a modular unit. Versions with 2 PRI interfaces and up to 30 IP channels will be released first and later on the versions with 1 – 2 – 3 and 4 PRI interfaces and 4 – 8 – 12 – 16 BRI interfaces. This modularity offers flexibility as regards to pricing - but perhaps even more important - the possibility to scale VoXip’s to fit perfectly into any other project and solution.
Our next step in the development of the VoXip2 will embed as many of the features from the Parlay i8 and i60 as possible, leveraging an even wider range of customer demands and needs. We strongly believe that you, as a Voxtream business partner, can prosper from these upcoming functionalities. Regardless of the broadband capacity within the approximately 40 countries, which we serve, compression is a must. We have made sure that VoXip2 will support the compression codec G729 with the smallest possible impact on speech quality ensuring the well-known Voxtream quality. In fact, customers refer to Voxtream products as being Carrier Grade Quality and we aim to keep it that way.
Developing a VoXip2 takes a lot of resources, but the powerful combination of having long term R&D expertise and a Best In Class product portfolio for building new products - will give you, as a reseller, a great opportunity to increase your customer platform with more and more satisfied customers.
Very soon we will be ready for sending you units for test and some of our customers have already accepted to make a field test, however, if you are also interested in this please do not hesitate to send an e-mail to Amir Fariani on You will then receive further information about time and conditions for field testing partners. |
